D&A Armory is a fully licensed NFA / Class 3 dealer. We transfer and sell suppressors, short-barreled rifles (SBRs), short-barreled shotguns (SBSs), AOWs, and transferable (pre-1986) machine guns. If you can legally own it in Ohio, we can help you get it — even items that aren’t listed online.

What We Handle

  • Short-Barreled Rifles (SBRs) — factory or build on your registered lower
  • Short-Barreled Shotguns (SBSs)

  • Machine gun transfers — transferable (pre-May 1986) machine guns only; post-dealer samples cannot be sold to individuals
  • NFA trust guidance & incoming transfers from other dealers/individuals

How Buying an NFA Item Works

  1. Choose your item. Pick from what’s in stock, or we’ll special-order almost any suppressor or NFA-eligible firearm from our distributor network.
  2. We start the transfer. The item comes in to D&A Armory on an ATF Form 3, then transfers to you on a Form 4.
  3. Paperwork. Register as an individual or through an NFA trust; we handle fingerprints & photos in-store.
  4. $0 tax stamp — as of January 1, 2026 the federal NFA tax on suppressors, SBRs, SBSs & AOWs has been eliminated. You still file the Form 4; there is simply no tax to pay. (Transferable machine gun transfers still carry the $200 tax.)
  5. ATF approval. eForms 4 approvals are running much faster than the old paper wait times.
  6. Pick up at our Grafton, Ohio shop once your stamp is approved.
