Questions people ask before their first visit

What do I need to buy a gun in Ohio?

A valid government photo ID with your current address and a passed background check, which we run in the store and which usually comes back the same day. Ohio does not require a permit or license to purchase a firearm. Handguns from a dealer require you to be 21; long guns 18. Our Buying a Gun in Ohio guide covers the details.

Can I buy online and pick up in the store?

Yes. Order on dnaarmory.com and choose “Pick up in store” in the firearm box at checkout. We will have it ready at the counter, and the background check happens when you pick up.

Do you take transfers from other sellers?

Yes. Have the seller ship to us, bring your ID, and we complete the transfer in the store. See FFL transfers for the fee and what to bring.

Can I handle a gun before I buy it?

Absolutely. That is the point of a local shop. Come in, handle a few, and ask questions. There is no pressure and no upsell.

Do you buy guns or take trades?

We take trade-ins and offer consignment. Bring the firearm in during store hours and we will give you a straight answer on value.
